Christmas in Ida Parade 2012
|
We are very excited to say we are walked in the Ida Christmas lighted parade with girls of Aibhlinn Farm and Monty from Mystic Creek, representing The Gypsy Horse Association . Will post pics as soon as we get home and warm up. Then the next weekend we walked in the Dundee Christmas parade. We had so much fun and so proud of our horses, they did so well. Hope to go to them both next year. Thank you Kim for Inviting us to walk with with you, and For the beautiful Costumes that you made....they looked beautiful and my goodness they had to have a million Lights on them, everyone could see us a mile away. Thank you GHA, we had a great time.

Heartland Fall Classic 2012
We are very proud of our girls, they were so well behaved and we all had a great time. Here is a few pics some of the classes they were in and ribbons that they won. We were very surprised, but happy how well our girls did. There were some very amazing horses at this show. We had a great time and plan to go again next year. I have more pics posted on our Facebook page. The good pics were taken by Black Horse Photography, the rest were just taken by us.

Harry Hughes 7/22/12
|
We had another great time at Harry Hughes, they put on an awesome show. We got there and the kids sprung into action, brushing ponies, unwrapping tails, etc......By show number 3 this year....We all worked together and had a few minutes to relax before the classes started. The Ponies were much more relaxed....Lillie Belle was a bit to relaxed....the Judge explained that in Halter she needs to be awake and not sleeping. LOL We love our lazy girl. Daezy and I went in to practice paying attention....I love this big 2 year old. Brian and Lillie Belle placed 2nd in Draft Halter....which was Brian's first ribbon. She then went in 2 classes with MaKayla who is 10. Great Job Girls. Daezy Mae is getting the concept of standing still and not following butterflies. LOL She even did very well for Emma who is only 8 and tiny compared to Daezy. I took Lillie Belle in our 2nd riding class ever.....she did great. I was very very nervous but Lillie took care of me....She has only been broke to walk and trot for 3 months or so. She took a 5th place ribbon.

Harry Hughes Show 6/24/12
The Girls and I showed at this show. It was so much fun. The horses and the kids were more relaxed. I took Lillie Belle into the Draft Halter class (my first time showing) and was shocked to hear them announced we took 1st place and even more shocked when we won reserve champion in Halter. Very Cool to hear my kids yelling "GO MOM AND LILLIE BELLE". :) It was overall a great day and I think we are getting a bit more organized. We cant wait til the next one.

Harry Hughes Show 6/3/12
|
We went to the Harry Hughes show on 6/3/12 and had an awesome time. The kids and the ponies were nervous, but they all did an great job and we had a lot of fun. Kayla, Emma and Nathan all got a chance to show....this was their first show together. I'm very proud of them all. Its funny to see how the ponies react without each other standing side by side, you would think they have grown up together as they are yelling back and forth. Overall we laughed a lot at them and figured out we have a lot more work to do:)
